  • Dad: does Rich (my veggie bf) eat prawns? They're not meat are they?
  • Me: yes they are, he doesn't eat animals..
  • Dad: prawns are molluscs...
  • Me: *ignores that daft comment* ok well... Put it this way, he doesn't eat anything with a face.
  • Dad: what about cheese? He eats cheese....a cow has a face...
  • Me: *baffled and walks away*
  • -3 weeks later-
  • Dad: Rich don't eat eggs does he?
  • Me: of course he does, he's not vegan...
  • Dad: eggs have a face!
  • Me: where on an egg is there a face?!!!
  • Dad: ..... When it hatches....

    My Giant African Land Snail, Simba, habing a wander round his tank. Those lines show the muscles movements up his body to move him around the tank… Things like that amaze me. Fascinating little creatures.
